AM/DM Cost Management & Strategic Sourcing - EV Components

Looking for a dynamic procurement professional to drive cost optimization, commodity tracking, and supplier negotiations for Electric Vehicle (EV) aggregates and electrical components. The ideal candidate will combine technical engineering insights with strong commercial acumen to execute Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Costing & Analytics: Perform cost comparison, should-cost analysis, and detailed cost estimation for EV aggregates and electrical components.
• Commodity & Forex Management: Monitor global commodity trends and forex variations to accurately update and revise component pricing models.
• Supplier Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations with potential suppliers regarding carrying costs, raw material indexation, and technical evaluations.
• Cost Optimization (VA/VE): Drive Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives internally and with suppliers to eliminate waste and optimize product costs.
• Price Revisions: Efficiently manage and settle period-based price revisions derived from raw material and forex fluctuations.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Engineering.
• Experience: Proven experience in automotive strategic sourcing, specific to EV components or electronics.
• Skills: Strong understanding of cost breakup, vendor management, commodity indexing, and technical component evaluation.
