About the Opportunity

We are building a dedicated Alternatives business vertical across major cities in India and are looking for experienced professionals to join and help establish, develop and scale this practice.

The role offers an opportunity to build a business from the ground up, develop institutional relationships and create a strong presence across emerging alternative real estate asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and develop the Alternatives business across the assigned market.
• Identify and develop opportunities across alternative real estate asset classes.
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, developers, operators, corporates, funds and other key stakeholders.
• Drive business development, client acquisition and transaction/advisory opportunities.
• Develop market intelligence and identify emerging opportunities within the Alternatives space.
• Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to build the Alternatives practice.
• Support development of the business strategy, pipeline and market expansion plan.
• Build and mentor teams as the business scales.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant experience in Alternatives, Institutional Real Estate, Investment Advisory, Capital Markets, Real Estate Consulting or Business Development.
• Strong understanding of the relevant asset class and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and generate business.
• Strong network among institutional / corporate clients, investors, developers, operators or other relevant stakeholders.
• Strong commercial orientation with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a business vertical.
• Professionals currently working with IPCs, real estate advisory firms, investment firms, funds, developers or relevant sector-focused organisations are encouraged to apply.
