ALM Techno-Functional Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Polarion solutions, including workflows, forms, reports, dashboards, and automation.
• Build Polarion extensions, plugins, widgets, and live reports using Java, JavaScript, APIs, and Apache Velocity.
• Configure and administer Polarion artifacts such as Work Items, Documents, Plans, Test Runs, Permissions, and Traceability.
• Integrate Polarion with enterprise applications, preferably Siemens Teamcenter/PLM, and support upgrades, defect fixes, and performance improvements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solutions, contribute to testing and releases, and provide technical guidance and development standards.
• Establish development best practices and provide technical guidance that strengthens solution quality and long-term sustainability

Preferred candidate profile

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Polarion ALM development, customization, configuration, and support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Polarion Workflows, Work Items, Live Reports, dashboards, Forms, APIs, and extensions.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, Apache Velocity, SQL, Polarion Open Java API, and Rendering API, including plugin and extension development.
• Experience integrating Polarion with PLM/Teamcenter or other enterprise engineering systems.
• Experience in solution design, technical analysis, and translating business requirements into robust ALM solutions.
• Exposure to AI solutions and their application to enhance solution capabilities and operational efficiency would be an advantage.
