Alias Modeler / Automotive Digital Sculptor

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality 3D surface models using Autodesk Alias.
• Create and refine automotive exterior and interior surfaces.
• Perform Class-A surfacing and maintain high standards of surface quality.
• Interpret design sketches, concept designs, and 2D references into 3D models.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to achieve design intent and technical feasibility.
• Perform surface refinement, continuity checks, and quality validation.
• Incorporate design feedback and deliver models within project timelines.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Alias, including NURBS surface modelling.
• Good understanding of automotive design and surfacing principles.
• Knowledge of surface continuity (G0, G1, G2) and Class-A surfacing standards.
• Ability to interpret automotive design sketches and develop accurate 3D models.
• Good understanding of automotive exterior and interior design elements.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation Design or Industrial Design (B.Des / M.Des).

Preferred Candidates

Candidates with 45 years of relevant experience in Alias modelling and automotive surfacing.
