Air Ticketing Executive

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Air Ticketing / Operations with strong expertise in Domestic and International air ticketing, including both individual and group bookings.

The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end air ticketing operations, providing competitive fare options, handling reservations and changes, and coordinating with airlines, consolidators, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Domestic and International air ticketing for individual and group passengers.
• Manage Group Ticketing for tour groups, corporate groups, pilgrimage groups.
• Handle individual reservations, ticket issuance, re-issuance, cancellations and refunds.
• Search and compare fares, routes, schedules and airline options to provide the best available solutions.
• Handle PNR creation, fare rules, ticketing deadlines and payment requirements.
• Coordinate with airlines, GDS providers, consolidators and suppliers for reservations and ticketing.
• Handle rebooking, date changes, cancellations, no-shows and schedule changes.
• Ensure compliance with airline fare rules, baggage policies and ticketing conditions.
• Provide timely and accurate quotations for both individual and group travel requirements.
• Coordinate with the Tours, Sales and Operations teams for flight bookings linked to tour packages.
• Resolve customer queries and issues related to flight bookings and ticketing.
• Maintain proper records of bookings, tickets, refunds, cancellations and other transactions.
• Ensure accuracy in passenger names, travel dates, sectors, fares and ticket details.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Air Ticketing.
• Strong experience in both Domestic and International Ticketing.
• Hands-on experience with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo.
• Good knowledge of international and domestic airline schedules, fare structures and routing.
• Knowledge of fare rules, re-issuance, refunds, cancellations and ticketing procedures.
• Good understanding of group booking processes and airline group policies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Good computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred:

• Experience in a Travel Company, Tour Operator, OTA, Airline or Travel Management Company.
• Experience handling large group movements and tour-related air bookings willbe an added advantage.
• Experience with pilgrimage, leisure, corporate or international tour groups is preferred.
• IATA/airline ticketing certification is a must.
