Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Air Import Pricing Specialist to manage pricing enquiries, prepare competitive quotations, negotiate rates, and maintain profitable relationships with overseas agents and customers.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in air import pricing and freight forwarding, along with excellent negotiation, analytical, and customer-handling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end air import pricing enquiries and RFQs.
- Obtain competitive rates from airlines, overseas agents, and freight partners.
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and service conditions with agents and customers.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations within the required turnaround time.
- Monitor margins and ensure healthy Gross Profit (GP) on every shipment.
- Coordinate with overseas agents, customers, sales teams, and operations teams.
- Provide shipment tracking, status updates, and end-to-end visibility to customers.
- Respond promptly to customer queries and resolve pricing or shipment-related concerns.
- Maintain updated rate sheets and pricing records.
- Prepare and submit DSR, enquiry, conversion, and GP reports.
- Monitor market trends, airline rates, capacity, and competitor pricing.
- Support customer retention by providing timely and commercially viable solutions.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 45 years of relevant experience in Air Import Pricing or Freight Forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of air freight rates, import procedures, and pricing practices.
- Proven experience in handling RFQs and preparing competitive quotations.
- Excellent negotiation and customer-management abilities.
- Commercially focused with a strong understanding of margins and GP.
- Able to manage multiple enquiries while maintaining accuracy and quick turnaround.
- Proficient in MS Excel and logistics or freight-management systems.
- Graduates in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or Commerce will be preferred.
