Air Import Assistant Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage air imports from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers, customs brokers, and Clients for smooth clearance processes.
  
• Prepare and submit necessary documents (e.g., commercial invoices) for importation purposes.
  
• Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws related to international trade.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in air imports, International logistics, or a related field.
• Ability to lead and handle teams with strong decision making skills.
  
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding procedures and practices especially Air Imports.
  
• Proficiency in preparing various types of Air Import documentation (e.g., commercial invoices).
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales team) as well as external partners (e.g., Clients).
  
• Ability to work independently under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
