Role Description The AIOps Engineer -1 (1-3 years of experience) is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AI-driven solutions that support agasty.ai’s educational platforms. Day-to-day work includes enhancing system performance, automating infrastructure and application workflows and building AI solutions using OSS models for enhanced workflows and scalability of systems. The role involves collaborating with engineering, data and product teams to integrate machine learning and analytics into operational processes, optimize resource usage and enhance incident detection and resolution. The AIOps Engineer -1 also participates in troubleshooting complex production issues, documenting runbooks and best practices and continuously refining observability and monitoring strategies. This position requires a strong focus on secure, resilient and maintainable systems that can support a growing global user base.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in infrastructure and cloud operations, such as working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Candidates should possess skills related to AI and data-driven operations, such as applying machine learning or analytics to anomaly detection, reinforcement, model training, OSS model management, capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess skills in systems reliability and security, including familiarity with SRE practices, incident management, performance tuning and basic security and compliance principles.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Beneficial experience includes working in edtech or mission-driven organizations, collaborating in cross-functional remote teams and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
