AI Video Editor - YouTube

We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy AI Video Editor with 1-4 years of work experiencewho can leverage AI-powered tools to produce engaging, high-quality video content for YouTube. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video storytelling, editing techniques, automation tools and short-form and long-form video formats.

Key Responsibilities

1. Use AI-powered video editing tools to create and edit video content for digital platforms.
2. Produce news videos, YouTube videos, reels, shorts and explainers. Use AI tools for automated video editing, subtitles, transcription, voiceovers, background removal and visual enhancement.
3. Convert scripts, news articles and raw footage into engaging video stories. Create AI-generated visuals, animations and supporting graphics wherever required.
4. Optimise video content for YouTube. Collaborate with editorial, video production, and social media teams to meet daily publishing deadlines.
5. Explore emerging AI tools and workflows to improve productivity and video production efficiency.

Required Skills

1. Hands-on experience with AI video editing tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, Descript, Adobe Premiere Pro AI features, CapCut or similar platforms. Knowledge of After Effects or equivalent editing software.
2. Understanding of video storytelling, pacing, transitions, colour correction and sound design.
3. Experience creating content for YouTube and social media platforms.
4. Familiarity with AI voiceovers, auto-captioning, transcription and text-to-video tools.
5. Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced digital news environment. Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of visual storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in digital news media, broadcast media, or online content production.
2. Familiarity with YouTube content formats and audience engagement strategies.
