AI Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead Generative AI & Agentic Systems

4+ yrs leading AI initiatives We are helping our client hire a hands-on leader to build and scale their enterprise AI Center of Excellence — driving GenAI adoption on AWS and championing Kiro, AWS's spec-driven agentic IDE, to move engineering teams from ad-hoc prompting to disciplined, spec-first delivery.

What You'll Do

• CoE Strategy & Governance: Stand up and scale the AI CoE — defining its charter, and setting standards for responsible AI, MLOps, and agentic delivery.
• AWS Cloud Architecture: Design secure, production-grade GenAI infrastructure using Bedrock, Lambda, DynamoDB, and cloud-native IAM/security frameworks.
• Spec-Driven Engineering via Kiro: Drive org-wide adoption of Kiro — shifting teams to structured requirements, design specs, and automated task execution.
• Workflow Automation: Build agent hooks, steering files, and MCP integrations to automate testing, documentation, and deployments.
• Stakeholder Enablement: Partner with leadership to showcase fast POC-to-production wins and cut feature delivery times.
• Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-performing CoE team; upskill developers org-wide on modern AI tooling.

What You Bring

• Experience: 12+ years in software engineering and cloud architecture, with 4+ years leading AI initiatives or enterprise transformation.
• Core Technical Competencies: Advanced AWS, Python, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK), and vector/RAG data pipelines.
• Kiro Expertise: Hands-on with spec generation, steering rules, multi-model handling, and managing agentic loops.
• Leadership Track Record: Proven history leading an AI/Cloud CoE, managing cross-functional teams, and driving tooling adoption.
• Education: B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical discipline.
