Role Description We are looking for an AI Research Scientist to join our Artificial Intelligence team in Vadodara. This is a hybrid role that offers a combination of office and remote working. In this role, you will research, develop, and improve machine learning solutions that address real business challenges. You will work closely with software engineers, data professionals, and product teams to design, evaluate, and deploy AI models that are accurate, scalable, and ready for production use. Your work will involve experimenting with modern AI techniques, validating model performance, analysing large datasets, and contributing to the development of intelligent products and platforms. You will also stay informed about emerging developments in artificial intelligence and help identify technologies that can strengthen our products and services.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. You should have one to three years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or related software development. Exceptional fresh graduates with strong academic achievements, research work, internships, or open-source contributions are encouraged to apply. A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and software engineering principles, is essential. You should also have a good understanding of probability, statistics, linear algebra, and machine learning concepts. Hands-on experience with Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn is expected. Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and modern AI development practices will be highly valued. Experience working with SQL, Git, Linux, REST APIs, cloud platforms, and software development best practices is desirable. Exposure to technologies such as Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, Docker, Kubernetes, or MLOps tools will be considered an advantage. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
