AI Platform Engineer

We're hiring AI Platform Engineers at KreditBee and we're doing it differently.

We're building the AI platform that enables every team at KreditBee to ship Gen AI features safely and at scale from retrieval and agent workflows to model serving, evaluation, and guardrails.
As a regulated consumer-lending business, we treat reliability, consistency, and auditability as non-negotiable. This platform is the foundation the whole organization depends on to become AI-native.

And as the platform grows, you can move between tracks.
Software / Platform TrackBuilding reliable, well-designed distributed systems across:

• Model serving & orchestration
• RAG pipelines & gateways
• Observability
• Self-improving loops
• Running agents at scale serving millions of KreditBee customers

ML / Applied-AI TrackMaking models actually work in production:

• Retrieval quality • Prompting & agent design • Evaluation • Fine-tuning • Voice bots • In-app assistants • Ad designers • Production-grade AI/ML systems

• Technical Lead/Engineering Manager: Sets technical direction and makes long-horizon bets

What ties both tracks together?
End-to-end ownership: design build ship monitor on-call.We care about clean, well-tested code and treat reliability, latency, cost, and observability as first-class requirements.
And because we're building in a regulated environment, data privacy, access controls, and auditability are part of the job not an afterthought.

What we look for:

• Strong CS fundamentals data structures, algorithms & system design • A track record of shipping software in production • Nice to have: fintech / lending / payments or other regulated-domain experience • LLMOps / MLOps tooling, vector databases & evaluation frameworks • Open-source contributions or AI/ML side projects
