AI / ML Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to build and deploy intelligent systems across our products and client sites. You will work on a mix of computer vision, machine learning, and data-driven modeling problems — with the freedom to shape how we apply AI to real-world industrial systems. This is a hands-on role where your models run on live machines, not dashboards.

YOGIJI DIGI LIMITED (formerly DIGI DRIVES) incepted in the year 1993, has a long-standing presence in the design and manufacturing of flat steel processing equipment for Cold Rolling Mills, Galvanizing Lines, Color Coating Lines, Pickling Lines and ARP. The company has a modern, high-precision CNC machining and manufacturing facility in Palwal, Haryana. The focus has been on producing import substitutes such as Mill Housings, Tension Reels, Coil Coaters etc. in house and has contributed to the cause of Self-Reliant India (आत्मनिर्भर भारत). The company has also expanded its portfolio to include the design and manufacturing of energy efficient high-end Non-Ox Furnaces and Baking Ovens for metal coating lines. What You'll Work On:

• Build, train, and deploy machine learning models that solve practical problems on the factory floor.
• Work across computer vision, predictive modeling, and data analytics depending on the problem at hand.
• Take solutions end-to-end — from data collection and experimentation through to production deployment.
• Collaborate closely with automation engineers, design engineers, and product owners.
• Translate technical results into insights that non-technical stakeholders can act on.

What We're Looking For:

• 2–6 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, AI, data science, or a related field.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or any quantitative field.
• Strong Python skills and experience with common ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, OpenCV, or similar).
• Comfortable working with real-world, messy data.
• Curiosity about how machines work, and willingness to learn the industrial domain.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have (not required):

• Experience with deep learning and object detection frameworks
• Exposure to time-series analysis, signal processing, or predictive maintenance
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
