Position: AI/ML Engineer

Full Time Employment/Contractual

THE ROLE:

This role is part of the Client Graphics NPI software validation team, providing comprehensive graphics software support for Client CPU/APU NPI enablement. Responsibilities include validating graphics drivers with AI-based tools/solutions/framework across various AMD client programs, demonstrating a self-driven, results-oriented approach, and collaborating with global teams.

THE PERSON:

An individual with strong technical expertise in AI/ML usage, proficiency in Python programming, and comprehensive PC knowledge & software architecture, who also demonstrates effective teamwork abilities by working and delivering the tasks

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop AI/ML-based test methodologies for smarter validation workflows

Top Mandatory Skills:[Applied AI / Agentic Automation Skills]:

• Hands-on experience developing Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using Python, LLM APIs and modern agent/RAG frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one additional programming language is required. Experience with C/C++ is preferred.
• Candidate should be capable of integrating AI agents with engineering systems such as CI/CD, test automation, defect-management systems, source repositories and log/telemetry platforms.
• Experience in AI-driven test selection, failure triage, root-cause analysis, code/change-impact analysis or engineering productivity automation is strongly preferred.

Good-to-Have / Optional Skills

• Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• MLOps / DevOps tooling: MLflow, model deployment & serving pipelines
• Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
• Vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma) for RAG
• Experiment tracking & CI/CD automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a results-oriented approach and the ability to contribute to work involving next-generation technology.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor engineering degree in CS/ECE with 5 years working experience or above in AI/ML domain
• Masters engineering degree in CS/ECE with 3 years of working experience
