AI Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a skilled AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent automation systems that optimize our business workflows and digital infrastructure. In this role, you won't just be connecting APIs; you will be architecting the bridge between core software systems and advanced Artificial Intelligence. You will leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), automated agents, and robust backend engineering to transform complex, manual processes into seamless, automated pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain intelligent automation workflows using orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, n8n, or Make).
• Implement state-of-the-art LLMs and GenAI APIs into production-ready web applications and internal portals.
• Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and manage vector databases to allow AI agents to securely query internal documentation and databases.
• Design and build robust, scalable APIs and microservices to support automation pipelines.
• Integrate AI automation tools deeply with existing tech stacks, databases, and third-party SaaS applications.
• Ensure high availability, error handling, retry logic, and strict security compliance across all automated workflows.
• Fine-tune prompts and optimize LLM token usage to balance system performance with operational costs.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines for automation scripts and AI workflows to ensure smooth, automated deployments.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, and operations teams to identify bottleneck processes and engineer intelligent solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and establish best practices for prompt engineering and AI code safety.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 1-2 years focused explicitly on AI automation, LLM integration, or workflow engineering.
• Languages: Strong proficiency in Python, modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• AI Frameworks: Hands-on experience with tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Autogen, or visual automation platforms like n8n and Make.
• Vector DBs & Data: Experience working with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma, Milvus, or pgvector) and traditional databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• APIs & Cloud: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• DevOps/Tools: Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
