AI Engineer

We are looking for an AI Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to design, develop, and integrate AI-powered applications and workflows. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building reliable solutions using Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, RAG, agent workflows, APIs, and cloud technologies.The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with AI systems in production, integrating models with external tools and applications, and evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain AI-powered workflows, pipelines, and reusable AI components.
• Develop prompt architectures, system instructions, and context strategies for LLM-based applications.
• Build RAG pipelines, including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing, and retrieval optimization.
• Integrate LLM providers, APIs, tools, and function-calling capabilities.
• Develop Agentic AI workflows and multi-step AI processes.
• Build supporting application layers including REST APIs, background processing, and state management.
• Design and implement AI evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, groundedness, latency, cost, and regression.
• Implement AI guardrails, input/output validation, prompt-injection protection, and safe failure mechanisms.
• Implement logging, tracing, and monitoring to troubleshoot and improve AI systems.
• Monitor token usage, model performance, and AI workload costs.
• Develop production-quality solutions using Python.
• Work with SQL, relational databases, Git, and CI/CD.
• Integrate and deploy AI solutions using Azure/cloud services.
• Work with enterprise tools and integrations such as Jira, Confluence, source control, and client systems.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and Agile delivery.
• Ensure appropriate security, access control, secrets management, and data protection while building AI solutions.

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience with hands-on experience in AI/LLM-based applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLM APIs, and Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval architectures.
• Experience with AI Agents, tool/function calling, or workflow orchestration.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SQL, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks.
• Understanding of AI evaluation, monitoring, and debugging.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
