AI Engineer - QA Regression
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer - QA Regression with 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation to support quality validation across our AI-enabled application landscape. This role combines traditional QA practices with AI-driven testing methodologies to help ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of modern cloud-based applications.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, regression validation, API testing, and test automation, along with an interest in leveraging AI-powered tools and automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation roles.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.
- Hands-on experience performing manual, functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Robot Framework.
- Experience building and maintaining automated regression test suites.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing platforms, intelligent test generation, or self-healing automation frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
- Experience testing cloud-based and AI-enabled applications.
