Job Summary We are seeking a talented AI Engineer Generative AI & Document Intelligence with 3+ years of experience in designing and developing AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, Generative AI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Azure OpenAI/OpenAI APIs, Vector Databases, and document intelligence solutions. You will work on innovative AI initiatives for Defence and Shipbuilding domains, building intelligent document processing and semantic search solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Generative AI technologies.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop semantic search solutions using vector databases.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI/OpenAI APIs into enterprise applications.
• Implement OCR and intelligent document processing workflows.
• Work with LangChain and/or LlamaIndex to orchestrate LLM-based applications.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product teams, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Participate in customer discussions to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Develop AI solutions for Defence and Shipbuilding industry use cases.
• Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and document intelligence technologies.

Required Skills

• 4 to 8 years of experience in AI/ML or Python development.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with Azure OpenAI Service and/or OpenAI APIs.
• Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture.
• Experience with Vector Databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, Milvus, or Weaviate.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain and/or LlamaIndex.
• Experience in OCR and document processing solutions.
• Good understanding of prompt engineering and LLM optimization.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and cloud-based application development.

Good to Have

• Experience with Document Intelligence platforms (Azure Document Intelligence, Google Document AI, etc.).
• Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and autonomous AI workflows.
• Experience handling engineering, manufacturing, or technical documentation.
• Exposure to Azure cloud services and AI ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
