ABOUT PARAMETRIC Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of Morgan Stanley. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what’s important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. We also offer systematic alpha and alternative strategies to complement clients’ core holdings.
This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which requires working in the office 3 days a week and remotely the remaining days of the week. This hybrid arrangement is the current guidance and may be subject to change in the future.
ABOUT THE TEAM The AI team is part of the Automation, Reinvention, Collaboration (ARC) function within Operations. ARC plays a central role in driving transformation aligned with the Ops 2.0 vision by identifying opportunities, developing prototypes, and scaling solutions that enhance efficiency, decision-making, risk and control effectiveness.
The AI team specifically focuses on: Enabling rapid experimentation of AI use cases across Operations Partnering with business and technology stakeholders to validate and scale high-impact opportunities Building reusable AI capabilities that accelerate adoption across teams
ABOUT THE ROLE This role will focus on enabling rapid prototyping and experimentation of AI use cases across Operations, working closely with business and technology stakeholders.
The AI Analyst will play a key role in: Translating business problems into AI-enabled solutions Driving fast POC development and validation cycles Supporting adoption and scaling of proven use cases This position requires strong analytical thinking, curiosity for AI technologies, and the ability to operate in an iterative, fast-paced environment, partnering across business and technology stakeholders.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AI Use Case Identification & Experimentation Partner with business stakeholders to identify, shape, and prioritize AI use cases Break down business problems into structured experimentation frameworks Drive rapid prototyping (POCs) to validate feasibility and value POC Development & Delivery Work with business and technology teams to build and test AI prototypes Support data preparation, prompt design, model evaluation, and output validation Iterate quickly based on feedback, focusing on speed and learning Stakeholder Management Translate business requirements into implementable AI solutions Communicate outcomes, insights, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders Adoption & Scaling Support transition of successful POCs into production-ready solutions Drive documentation, training, and adoption with end users Contribute to building reusable frameworks, assets, and best practices for AI delivery Governance & Risk Awareness Ensure AI use cases are aligned with internal policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory expectations Support responsible AI practices including data handling, model transparency, and auditability
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to translate business requirements into technical/analytical Strong communication skills with ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders Experience working with data (SQL, Python, or similar preferred) Ability to operate in a fast-paced, iterative environment with a focus on experimentation
Good to Have Skills Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools, GenAI platforms, or prompt engineering Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Python notebooks, low-code platforms) Exposure to visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar) Financial services experience is a plus
