Salary: According to Experience & Qualifications
About the Role
We're building a company-wide AI automation program powered by Claude. This role owns the full journey from auditing how each department works today, to designing and deploying always-on AI agents that handle repetitive and rule-based work across the business, with humans overseeing judgment calls and exceptions.
Program Roadmap
- Phase 1 (Month 12): Full workflow audit across departments; identify top automation opportunities; build 12 pilot agents
- Phase 2 (Month 3–4): Refine pilots based on real usage; expand to 3–4 more departments
- Phase 3 (Month 5+): Scale to all departments; build monitoring, escalation, and continuous improvement systems
Key Responsibilities
- Audit workflows across Sales, Support, Finance, HR, Operations, and Marketing to map automation potential
- Design and build department-specific AI agents using Claude API, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and MCP integrations
- Deploy persistent agents that monitor queues, respond to triggers, and execute tasks continuously
- Integrate Claude with existing systems (CRM, ERP, ticketing, email, Slack, Google Workspace, spreadsheets)
- Automate document-heavy work (reports, invoices, contracts, presentations)
- Build escalation paths so staff are alerted when an agent can't resolve something
- Set up testing/evaluation processes before any agent goes live in production
- Train department heads and teams to work alongside their agents
- Track performance, cost, and ROI; iterate over time
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based automation (Claude preferred; GPT/Gemini experience transferable)
- Experience with Claude API, Claude Code, and agent/tool integrations (MCP or similar)
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript
- Experience mapping and re-engineering business workflows
- Understanding of agentic AI architecture — tool use, memory, multi-step execution, guardrails
Good to Have
- Experience deploying AI agents in a live business setting (not just prototypes/demos)
- Background in RPA or systems integration
- Experience managing change/adoption for new AI tools
- Awareness of data security and access control for AI handling business-sensitive data
