AI Application Engineer

Role Description The AI Application Engineer at DelightLoop will design, build, and maintain AI-driven features that power Gifty and the autonomous marketing platform. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves developing and integrating machine learning models, optimizing data pipelines, and implementing APIs and microservices that support real-time personalization and lead generation. The engineer will collaborate with product, data, and sales teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, monitor system performance, and iterate quickly based on user feedback. Day-to-day responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, documenting solutions, and ensuring secure and reliable deployment of AI applications in production.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for AI applications (such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java), and experience building scalable backend services or microservices.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning or applied AI, including working with frameworks or libraries (for example, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or modern LLM toolchains) and deploying models into production environments.
• Experience with data engineering concepts, including designing data pipelines, working with structured and unstructured data, and using databases or data stores (SQL/NoSQL) for high-performance applications.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices, such as containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools to ensure reliable and secure AI services.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, communicate technical concepts clearly, and translate business needs in B2B sales or marketing into practical AI solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; prior work in marketing technology, sales enablement, or SaaS products is a plus.
• Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn new tools and approaches, experiment quickly, and iterate based on user and customer feedback.
