Job Description AHU Fabrication Supervisor

An Air Handling Unit (AHU) Fabrication Supervisor manages the production of

industrial and commercial air handling systems. this role increasingly involves

overseeing manufacturing practices and high-precision assembly to meet modern

energy efficiency standards.

Core Responsibilities

* Production Oversight: Supervise daily fabrication and assembly operations

according to production schedules. This includes managing workflows for:

• Cutting for aluminium and steel (CNC plasma and Laser)
• Bending techniques
• assembling
• Welding
• Electrical Work and Assembly

* Team Leadership: Allocate work to operators, fitters, welders, and helpers

based on their skill levels and the current workload.

* Technical Compliance: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints,

and project specifications to ensure AHU components meet rigorous quality

standards.

* Quality Control: Inspect finished unitsincluding internal components like

coils, fans, and filters—to ensure they meet customer requirements and

industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE or ISO).

Key Skills & Qualifications

* Education: High school diploma or technical degree

* Experience: Typically, 3–5 years of experience in a metal fabrication and

HVAC manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory

capacity.

* Language : English

* Technical Proficiency:

• Deep knowledge of AHU components (coils, blowers, dampers).
• Proficiency in welding (Mig, Tig, or Flux core) and structural fitting.
• Familiarity with CAD software

* Leadership: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor new staff

and resolve conflicts within the team.
