AGS Health Is Hiring For Experienced AR Callers- Chennai Location

Role & responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to US insurance companies to follow up on outstanding medical claims.
• Check claim status, payment details, denials, and underpaid claims.
• Identify reasons for claim rejections and denials and take appropriate action for resolution.
• Follow up with insurance companies regarding pending payments and claim adjudication.
• Work on denied, rejected, and unpaid claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Understand and work with EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice).
• Maintain accurate documentation of all calls, claim updates, and follow-up actions.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and collection targets.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team for further resolution.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and company policies.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in US Healthcare AR Calling / RCM.
• Good knowledge of US healthcare insurance processes and medical billing.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with US insurance representatives.
• Knowledge of claim status, denial management, payment follow-ups, and appeals.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve performance targets.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing systems and MS Office is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Any graduate preferred.
• Candidates with relevant US Healthcare AR Calling experience are encouraged to apply.
