AGM - Plant Safety

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced safety professional from a discrete manufacturing environment (Automotive, Auto Components, EV, Engineering, Industrial Machinery, etc.) to lead plant safety initiatives and drive a strong safety culture across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead plant safety and statutory compliance programs.
• Drive Machine Safety, Machine Guarding, LOTO, PTW, and Risk Assessment initiatives.
• Conduct HIRA, incident investigations, RCA, and CAPA implementation.
• Ensure compliance with Factory Act, DISH, Fire, PESO, and environmental regulations.
• Lead contractor safety management, emergency preparedness, and mock drills.
• Drive ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 management systems and safety audits.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve shop-floor safety performance.

Preferred Experience

• Automotive / Auto Components / EV Manufacturing
• Press Shop, Welding, Assembly, Machining Operations
• Robotics & Automation Safety
• Machine Risk Assessment and Safety Controls

Ideal Profile

• 12+ years of experience in Plant Safety / EHS.
• Strong exposure to manufacturing operations and machine safety.
• Experience in LOTO, HIRA, incident investigation, statutory compliance, and team leadership.
• ADIS / PDIS / Industrial Safety qualification preferred.
