AGM - EHV Design & Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and engineering of 132-400 kV EHV substations and transmission systems.
• Demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in primary engineering.
• Prepare and review SLDs, metering and protection schemes, GA drawings, and plan and section layouts.
• Lead earthing design, including step and touch potential, GPR calculations, and lightning protection.
• Review transmission line design, sag-tension calculations, and structure specifications.
• Review cable trench layouts and control cable and power cable schedules.
• Lead technical evaluation of vendors, tender documents, and engineering proposals.
• Guide and mentor the EHV Design & Engineering team.
• Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards and project specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 14 - 20 years of relevant experience in EHV substation design and engineering.
• Strong expertise in 132 kV, 220 kV and/or 400 kV AIS/GIS substations.
• Hands-on experience in primary engineering and technical review of design deliverables.
• Experience in power transmission, renewable energy, or solar EPC projects is preferred.
• Strong team leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.
