AGM / DGM Lead - Taxation

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Direct Tax:

• Lead corporate tax matters.
• Handle Transfer Pricing.
• Lead tax audits and litigation at all levels.
• Oversee direct tax compliance.
• Knowledge of Ind-AS / IFRS accounting related to taxes is preferred.

Indirect Tax

• Manage GST compliance across PAN India.
• Lead regular GST and customs compliances, audits, and assessments.
• Handle GST litigation across forums.
• Manage tax refunds.
• Lead customs matters, including regular compliances, special provision benefits, duty payments, and customs litigation.

Requirements:

• CA preferred; additional qualification in LLB / CS / CMA is an advantage.
• 11+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and execution orientation.
• Ability to lead through challenging situations and build a high-quality taxation team.
• Proven experience managing a team of 6-8 members.
