AGM / DGM Business Development Tenders

Role Summary:

Lead business growth by driving tendering and bidding processes, forging strategic partnerships, and securing profitable projects across infrastructure sectors (roads, irrigation, water supply, railways, industrial, residential, and commercial).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead identification and pursuit of new business opportunities in target sectors
• Drive tender sourcing, evaluation, and bid preparation (technical & financial)
• Champion site visits, feasibility studies, and rate analysis to ensure accurate costing
• Direct crossfunctional coordination with Legal, Finance, HR, and Technical teams
• Manage contractual correspondence and lead negotiations with clients
• Forge and sustain JV partnerships, ensuring alignment with company strategy
• Deliver timely, compliant, and winning bids to achieve business targets

Tendering & Bidding:

• Lead tender identification and eligibility assessment to ensure strategic participation
• Prepare comprehensive synopsis of tender documents (contracts, schedules, BOQ, drawings)
• Drive feasibility studies, rate analysis, and risk evaluation for accurate costing
• Prepare and deliver winning technical and financial bids with precision and ontime execution
• Champion postbid negotiations and secure favorable outcomes with clients
• Oversee submission of work programs in formats such as PERT, CPM, Bar Charts, and Scurves

Documentation & Approvals:

• Direct preparation of tender synopses including ITB, contract conditions, schedules, BOQ, and drawings
• Review Bill of Quantities and project schedules for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure approvals from Legal, Finance, HR, and Taxation teams for bid readiness
• Deliver structured project documentation and planning outputs using MS Project/Excel

Joint Ventures & Agreements:

• Forge strategic partnerships with domestic and international JV partners
• Negotiate and finalize MOUs and longterm agreements to expand business capacity
• Maintain strong partner relationships to ensure sustained collaboration and growth

Bank Guarantees & Compliance:

• Safeguard company finances by managing bank guarantees and ensuring timely release
• Oversee company registrations, eprocurement certifications, and digital compliance processes
• Maintain updated workdone and financial credentials to strengthen bid capacity
• Provide management with clear MIS reports on bids submitted, won, and lost

Qualifications:

• B.Tech/BE or M.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• 10 15 years of proven experience in tendering, estimation, and business development
