CAPEX(Project) Procurement ownership: Define and implement category strategies for CAPEX spend including plant & machinery, EPC, utilities, and Maintenance CAPEX. Lead procurement activities for major equipment and critical packages for large-scale projects such as blast furnaces, rolling mills, and process lines
Project Procurement Management: Own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for CAPEX projects and Maintenance CAPEX, including RFQ/RFP preparation, commercial evaluation, price negotiation through reverse auction, and order finalization in line with DOA
EPC & Contract Management: Lead sourcing and management of EPC/turnkey contractors. Draft and negotiate complex contracts covering price, milestones, LD clauses, warranties, and payment structures including advance,
Cost Optimization & Value Engineering: Drive a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach and identify cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing, indigenisation,
Stakeholder & Cross-functional Leadership: Act as a key interface between Projects/Engineering, Operations & Maintenance, Finance, Legal, and middle management teams.
- Proven expertise in Project Procurement Contract Management, and Supply Chain Management for large-scale steel plant expansion, brownfield/greenfield projects, and major CAPEX initiatives.
