AGM (Audit and Assurance)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced professional for the position of AGM Audit & Assurance in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have 11-15 years of relevant experience in audit, assurance, risk management, internal controls, and compliance, preferably within the BPO/BPM or shared services industry.

Candidates with strong exposure to Finance & Accounting processes, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Order to Cash (O2C), and FMCG operations, will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead audit and assurance activities across business processes to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Plan and execute operational, financial, and process audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify control gaps, assess risks, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor audit observations, remediation plans, and timely closure of findings.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, internal audit teams, and external auditors.
• Drive risk management, process governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare audit reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams to ensure quality and timely completion of audit assignments.
• Review Finance & Accounting processes, including AR, AP, O2C, and FMCG operations, to strengthen controls and operational efficiency.
• Ensure effective stakeholder management and adherence to audit standards, quality benchmarks, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 11-15 years of relevant experience in Audit & Assurance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance.
• Prior experience in the BPO/BPM, outsourcing, or shared services industry.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, internal controls, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks.
• Exposure to Finance & Accounting processes, including AR, AP, O2C, and FMCG operations.
• Proven experience in team leadership, stakeholder management, audit reporting, and issue resolution.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline. CA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.
