Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Agency Sales Manager role based in Cuttack. The Agency Sales Manager will oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of agency partners and advisors, ensuring achievement of sales targets and growth in health insurance business for the region. Responsibilities include developing and implementing local sales strategies, monitoring productivity, and driving market penetration through effective lead generation and customer engagement. The role requires regular field visits to support agency teams, provide guidance on products and sales processes, and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners. The Agency Sales Manager will also collaborate with internal teams on campaigns, compliance, and reporting to ensure alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

• Experience in agency/channel sales, preferably in health or general insurance, with a strong track record of achieving sales and growth targets.
• Skills in team leadership, coaching, and performance management to effectively develop and motivate agency partners and advisors.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to engage customers, agency networks, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to shape local sales strategies and improve productivity.
• Comfort with on-site, field-based work, including regular market visits in and around Cuttack, and readiness to work in a target-driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related discipline; a postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications in insurance or sales management are an advantage.
• Knowledge of health insurance products and regulatory guidelines, with customer-centric and ethical selling practices.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, CRM tools) and reporting, with an ability to work collaboratively across functions.
