Role Description The Agency Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Puri, focused on building and developing a high-performing agency channel. On a day-to-day basis, the role involves recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring agency partners and financial consultants, and supporting them in achieving sales and service targets. The manager is responsible for driving business growth through effective sales planning, regular performance reviews, and consistent field visits and joint calls with agents. The role includes delivering product and process training, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners. The Agency Development Manager also analyzes local market opportunities, implements promotional activities, and coordinates with internal teams to enhance customer experience and overall branch performance.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, business development, and target achievement skills, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Experience in agency management, including recruiting, training, and mentoring agents or financial consultants.
• Proficiency in relationship management, customer service, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to analyze market trends, prepare sales plans, and use data to monitor performance and drive improvement.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and local language; strong presentation and training abilities.
• Proven capability to work on-site, conduct regular field visits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree or relevant certifications in insurance or finance are an advantage.
• Knowledge of life insurance products and regulatory guidelines; comfort with basic digital tools and reporting systems.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work ethically in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
