Aerial Field / Tower Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Install, erect, maintain, and modify telecom towers, antennas, dishes, and RF transmission systems.
• Install and work with copper and fiber-optic systems, including fiber fusion and OTDR testing.
• Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement to identify and resolve transmission faults.
• Read and interpret engineered, fiber, and DC drawings and follow industry-standard installation guidelines.
• Operate power tools safely and follow all electrical and site safety procedures.
• Work outdoors and at heights in various weather conditions while maintaining a high standard of safety

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of construction or related field experience with strong tool-handling skills.
• Basic experience in tower erection, antenna installation, RF systems, copper, and fiber.
• Knowledge of wireless communication systems, electricity, and electrical safety.
• Experience with telecom troubleshooting, OTDR equipment, and fiber fusion is preferred.
• Physically fit, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working at heights.
• Reliable, trustworthy, safety-focused, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
