AEM Author/Publisher Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative AEM Content Author to manage and optimize digital content across our corporate websites and applications. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-quality web pages using predefined Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) templates and components. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, marketers, and developers to ensure content is accurately deployed, on brand, optimized for SEO, and delivered on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Create, configure, update, and maintain responsive web pages within the AEM author environment.
• Select and configure appropriate AEM components (e.g., text, layouts, carousels), Experience Fragments (XF), and Content Fragments (CF) to streamline content reuse.
• Ensuring cross-platform compatibility.
• Upload, organize, and manage media assets (images, videos, PDFs) within the Adobe Digital Asset Manager, ensuring strict adherence to folder hierarchies, naming conventions, and metadata tagging.
• Configure page properties, enter precise meta tags, keywords, alt text, and URLs to ensure pages align with SEO and web accessibility guidelines.
• Navigate AEM versioning, manage localization/translation workflows, and publish finalized pages to live production environments.
• Meeting publication deadlines.

• Providing user support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, MIS, or similar.
• At least 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience as an AEM Content Author
• Deep familiarity with AEM v6.4, v6.5, or AEM Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), including layout engines and the Touch UI environment.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web protocols to manipulate layouts or troubleshoot formatting anomalies.
• Ability to troubleshoot coding and application errors.
• Knowledge of web design and user application requirements.
• Ability to meet strict publication deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
