About this role
Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a DevOps developer for Systems, you will design and develop DevOps solutions using the latest technologies. You will work on developing software, including open-source software, and driving community best practices in IBM processes.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
- Hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline creation, and infrastructure automation, Jenkins / One Pipeline: Jenkinsfiles, Shared Libraries, Groovy scripting and standardized pipeline frameworks (One Pipeline), JFrog Suite, JFrog Artifactory and JFrog Xray into CI/CD workflows, Groovy, Python, Bash/Shell, Containers & Orchestration, Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm.
- Strong expertise in Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) and GitOps branching strategies.
- Expertise in SonarQube, Checkmarx
- Design Software: Designs, develops, tests, and delivers software, including open source software, working effectively with open source communities for Systems.
- Deliver Open Source Software: Works effectively with open source communities for Systems, driving community best practices in IBM processes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Minimum 8+ years of Hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline creation, and infrastructure automation, Jenkins / One Pipeline: Jenkinsfiles, Shared Libraries, Groovy scripting and standardized pipeline frameworks (One Pipeline), JFrog Suite, JFrog Artifactory and JFrog Xray into CI/CD workflows, Groovy, Python, Bash/Shell, Containers & Orchestration, Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm.

- Proven interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations (worldwide).
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
Prior Operating System development experience in UNIX (HP UX, Solaris, AIX) or Linux Operating systems.
- Expertise in SonarQube, Checkmarx
- Agile process knowledge
- Experience on tools like Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Gerrit or other equivalent tools.
- Should have good knowledge of unit testing & integration.
