    About this role

    Job description

Department: Global Business Services (GBS) Supply Chain
Company: Novo Global Business Services (GBS)

    Your impact begins here
As Advanced Planning Professional, you will turn complex operational planning data into clear insights that help management and board-level forums decide where to act. You will investigate deviations and risks, quantify their impact, follow agreed actions through to results and flag what is coming next. Working in Global Operational Planning, you will help keep the global supply plan balanced, which supports the people who rely on Novo's treatments.

    What you'll bring:

    • A Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business or a related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in supply chain or planning.
    • Experience preparing and presenting management insights that combine performance out-comes, root-cause analysis, business impact, actions and recommendations.
    • Experience facilitating cross-functional validation of data, conclusions, ownership and action status before management reporting.
    • Experience designing, tracking and reporting operational KPIs, including data cleansing and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx and SQL.
    • The ability to translate complex datasets into executive-ready business narratives.

    What you'll do

You will be the person who brings clarity to complex planning data, so leaders can see what changed, what is being done and where they need to step in.

    • Prepare and present structured insights for management and board-level forums, following a consistent storyline: what changed, the analysis and drivers, impact or risk, actions taken, open actions with owners and timelines, and the decision or support needed.
    • Investigate deviations, trends and emerging risks using operational data. Quantify impact where the data allows, and separate facts from assumptions and data limitations.
    • Capture agreed actions, follow up with the people responsible, monitor progress and report the latest status and effectiveness in each update.
    • Reconcile data across source reports, validate conclusions with stakeholders and run balance checks before insights reach management.
    • Look ahead using trends, scenarios and leading indicators to spot risks and opportunities, and recommend preventive or corrective actions.
    • Manage operational KPIs on a regular schedule, contribute to weekly and monthly insights reports, prepare and cleanse data with tools such as Alteryx and SQL, and answer ad-hoc data questions with clear, actionable findings.
    • Partner with development teams to shape and implement business dashboards that stream-line reporting for planning teams.

    Who you'll work with
You will join the Global Operational Planning team in the GSC&BD GBS unit in Bengaluru, India, part of Global Manufacturing & Supply. The unit works with our headquarters in Denmark to con-solidate supply chain activities and drive performance improvement. The team continuously im-proves our operational planning processes and systems to keep a balanced supply plan on a global scale.

Day to day, you will work with planning teams and the stakeholders responsible for actions, vali-date data and conclusions with them, and present insights to management. You will also partner with development teams on business dashboards. The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

    What you can expect here
You will work in a team where your expertise is valued and your voice is heard. You will be trusted to own your analysis, supported to perform at your best, and expected to speak up when things are stalling so decisions keep moving.

The role gives you regular exposure to management and board-level forums and a global view of how operational planning connects across the supply chain. You will build your skills through hands-on work with data, analytics tools and executive storytelling, alongside colleagues in Bengaluru and Denmark.
