About this role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant - Adobe Commerce Next.js Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable eCommerce solutions using Adobe Commerce (Magento) and Next.js. The ideal candidate should have expertise in building headless commerce platforms, modern storefront experiences, API integrations, and cloud-native digital commerce solutions.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade eCommerce applications using Adobe Commerce (Magento).
- Build modern, responsive storefronts using Next.js, React.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Implement headless commerce architectures leveraging Adobe Commerce APIs and GraphQL.
- Develop custom Magento modules, extensions, themes, and integrations.
- Integrate third-party systems including payment gateways, ERP, CRM, OMS, and marketing platforms.
- Optimize website performance, security, SEO, and scalability.
- Develop reusable frontend components and commerce accelerators.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions, technical reviews, and estimation activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, UX teams, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- 5-9 years of software development experience with a strong focus on eCommerce platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento 2.x) development.
- Strong expertise in Next.js, React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Experience building headless commerce solutions using GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Magento architecture, module development, customization, and extension development.
- Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud deployment and environment management.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, and responsive web design.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and code review practices.
- Understanding of caching mechanisms, CDN integration, and application performance optimization.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) integration.
- Knowledge of PWA Studio, Progressive Web Applications (PWA), and Micro Frontend architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.
- Adobe Commerce Developer certification is preferred.
