Role
A Sales Academic Counsellor combines educational guidance with revenue-driven enrollment and inside sales targets in the EdTech and training sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Engagement: Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp queries, and emails from prospective Learners.
Consultative Counselling: Understand the student's background, career goals, and academic needs to recommend the right courses.
Sales Pipeline Management: Track leads, perform regular follow-ups, and manage conversions using CRM or Google Suite tools.
Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and team-wise admission and revenue targets. Post-Sales Service: Assist enrolled students with onboarding, documentation, and query resolution
Required Skills
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in any stream (Education, Psychology, Business, or related fields preferred).
Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in tele-sales, inside sales, EdTech, or academic counselling. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
Sales Aptitude: High motivation for target achievement, negotiation abilities, and resilience.
Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge, CRM software, and MS Excel / Google Suite
