Objective

To efficiently carry out the admission process from end to end, comforting patients and resolving queries related to admission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Administrative and Admissions
  • Counselling of arriving patients.
  • Preparation of files with necessary documents for admissions
  • Assisting patients in filling the admission form
  • Explaining patients the packages and room charges
  • Counselling and explaining about deposits and room charges to patients at the time of emergency admission
  • Sending attendants with patients in assisting for showing the room and facilities
  • Coordinating with the mediclaim department depending on the type of patient
  • Verification of patient documents, photocopying them and preparation of file
  • Assisting patient to billing department for payment processing
  • Communicating with doctor regarding the payment mode as per requirement
  • Accompanying the VIP or suite patients to the room and processing the admission procedures.
  • Taking over from billing department and collecting all details about admission procedures taken place during night
  • Collection of letters and dockets from the billing department
  • Docket preparation and handing over copies to Corporate, Admissions and Billing department for record
  • Bifurcating all documents received from billing as per different categories
  • Carrying out the room change procedure when requested by patients
  • Handling bed allotment forms and allotting rooms to patients after checking availability for stipulated time duration
  • Confirming and communicating on floors before allotting room
  • Providing kits, food passes to TKR patients
  • Informing patients about food delivery timetable
  • Sending payment breakup to billing department for easing the payment process
  • Issuing visiting cards to patient relatives and giving extra pass after permission from authority
  • Preparing new file after receiving change
