Admission Counsellor

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and student-focused Admission Counsellor to manage the school's admission process, interact with prospective parents, and guide them through the enrolment process. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with experience in counselling, sales, or school admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries from prospective parents regarding school admissions, fee structure, curriculum, facilities, and admission procedures.
• Counsel parents and guide them through the admission process.
• Manage incoming calls, walk-in enquiries, online leads, and follow-ups with prospective parents.
• Conduct school tours and explain the school's facilities, academic programmes, and extracurricular activities.
• Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
• Maintain admission records, enquiry databases, and student documentation.
• Follow up with prospective parents to convert enquiries into admissions.
• Assist with application forms, document verification, and admission formalities.
• Prepare regular reports on enquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and admission status.
• Ensure a positive experience for parents throughout the admission journey.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; a degree in Education or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience in school admissions, educational counselling, customer service, or sales is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, convincing, and relationship-building skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and email communication.
• Ability to handle multiple enquiries and meet admission targets.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in CBSE, ICSE, or other reputed schools will be preferred.
• Experience in parent counselling, lead management, and admission conversion will be an advantage.
• A professional, approachable, and presentable personality is desirable.

Compensation

Salary: As per experience and school standards.
