Admission Counsellor

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Admission Counselor to guide working professionals in choosing the right upGrad programs based on their career goals and professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with working professionals through calls and other communication channels to understand their career and learning requirements.
• Counsel prospective learners about upGrad programs, courses, eligibility, and career benefits.
• Follow up with leads and convert prospective learners into enrolled students.
• Achieve assigned monthly admission and revenue targets.
• Maintain regular follow-ups and build strong relationships with prospective learners.
• Handle queries and objections related to programs, fees, eligibility, and career outcomes.
• Maintain accurate lead and conversion records in the CRM.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and enrollment process.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in Inside Sales, EdTech Sales, Admission Counseling, Telesales, or Business Development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
• Comfortable working with sales targets and performance metrics.
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable learning programs.
• Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.
• Candidates from EdTech, Education, BFSI, Telecom, or other sales-driven industries are preferred.
• Willingness to work from the Pune office.
