Admission Counsellor

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead Conversion & Sales Acceleration
• Convert inbound inquiries (web leads, social media leads, and walk-ins) into paid admissions through professional counseling.
• Understand the background of aspirants (IT, Non-IT, college students, working professionals) and pitch suitable software career tracks.
• Overcome objections regarding fees, course duration, and technical difficulties by highlighting institute USPs like placement records and hands-on projects.
• Proactive Lead Generation
• Drive outbound cold/warm calling campaigns to generate a continuous pipeline of prospective students.
• Plan and execute local lead generation strategies, including college seminars, corporate workshops, and referral programs.
• Partner with the digital marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and optimize campaign performance.
• Target Achievement & Pipeline Management
• Consistently meet and exceed weekly and monthly student enrollment and revenue targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Industry Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience working as an admission counselor or educational sales executive in a software training institute, tech academy, or EdTech company.
• Technical Familiarity: Basic understanding of IT career paths (e.g., what a Full-Stack Developer does, the scope of Data Science) to counsel students effectively.
