Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented and well-spoken Admission Counsellor to join our Admissions Team at Presidency School Yelahanka. The candidate will be responsible for handling admission enquiries, counselling prospective parents and students, conducting follow-ups, converting leads into admissions, and ensuring a smooth and positive admission experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle admission enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, emails, website leads and other channels.
• Counsel parents and prospective students regarding the school's curriculum, academic programs, facilities, fee structure and admission process.
• Understand the requirements of parents and recommend suitable programs/grades.
• Follow up regularly with prospective parents and ensure effective lead conversion.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, applications and admissions in the CRM/ERP system.
• Conduct campus visits and school tours for prospective parents and students.
• Coordinate with the Academic, Administration and Marketing teams for a smooth admission process.
• Schedule and coordinate student assessments/interactions and admission-related meetings.
• Participate in open houses, admission drives, education fairs and promotional activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly admission reports and provide regular updates to the management.
• Address parent queries and concerns professionally and ensure a high level of parent satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing parents.
• Work towards achieving monthly and annual admission targets.
• Keep updated on competing schools, educational trends and market practices.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
• 25 years of experience in school admissions, educational counselling, tele-counselling, customer relationship management or a similar role.
• Prior experience in a reputed school/educational institution will be preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing, counselling and negotiation abilities.
• Target-oriented with a proven ability to convert enquiries into admissions.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM/ERP systems.
• Strong follow-up, coordination and relationship-management skills.
• Should be confident, presentable, proactive and professional while interacting with parents.
• Fluency in English is essential; Kannada/Hindi will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate
