About this role
- Maintain books of accounts and perform monthly reconciliations
- Manage invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor payments
- Provide regular financial reports and status updates to management
- Identify relevant startup grants, government schemes, innovation challenges, and funding programmes
- Prepare and submit grant applications and maintain application trackers
- Support fundraising and investor reporting activities
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external agencies as required
Required Qualification:
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
Preferred Qualification:
- Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in working with numbers.
- Good report writing and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Exposure to startup grants, government schemes, or fundraising activities is an advantage.
