ACR - Stat Reporting - Manager

Job Summary

Role: Manager. The role requires demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end delivery. Proven capabilities of transitioning and stabilising statutory reporting operations.

The Experienced Manager will lead end-to-end delivery across financial reporting, audit support, EY SAWT compliance administration and automation workstreams. The role is accountable for quality, governance, stakeholder management, team performance and timely closure.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery and quality review across financial reporting, audit support, tax and technology-enabled workstreams.
• Review financial statements, disclosures, reconciliations, analytical reviews and complex accounting matters.
• Manage audit-support governance, evidence quality, issue resolution, stakeholder communication and timely closure.
• Oversee current and deferred tax calculations, related disclosures and specialist dependencies.
• Govern EY SAWT administration and deployment support, including access, controls, issue prioritization and reporting.
• Drive automation and standardization, manage capacity and engagement performance, and coach Seniors and Staff.

Skills and attributes for success

• Deep knowledge of statutory reporting processes under IFRS and USGAAP
• Demonstrated experience leading audit support and resolving complex reporting or evidence issues.
• Strong engagement management, executive communication, negotiation and escalation-management skills.
• Ability to manage concurrent workstreams, peak-period deadlines and geographically dispersed stakeholders.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, work allocation and review capabilities.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA) /Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 8 to 10 years of post-qualification work experience with financial reporting experience.
• In depth knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP/Ind AS is essential
• Track record of reviewing financial statements and managing reporting or audit delivery for complex entities or multi-country portfolios.
• Experience managing stakeholders across finance, audit, tax and technology functions.

What we look for

• End to end knowledge of accounting processes, accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP).
• Proficient in understanding of Statutory Reporting process, GAAP Bridging & Financial statement preparation.
• Conducting basic statutory reporting review through IFRS/US GAAP checklists.
• Experience in working across geographies-EMEIA/AMERICAS/APAC etc.
• Hands-on exposure to SAP/S/4HANA, Oracle, Business Central, Workiva or similar environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point
• Very good work organization, initiative and commitment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be motivated, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
