Accounts & Taxation Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including purchases, sales, receipts, payments, expenses, journal entries, and related accounting transactions.
• Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable GST returns accurately and within statutory timelines.
• Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation with books and identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate and timely TDS deduction, payment/deposit, and return filing.
• Handle vendor and customer account reconciliations and ensure timely closure of outstanding differences.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports, including GST and TDS-related reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements and maintain proper supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors, and GST auditors and provide the required information and documentation.
• Support management with accounting, taxation, reconciliation, and compliance-related reports and analysis.

Preferred candidate profile

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Strong practical knowledge of GST return filing, GSTR-2B reconciliation, TDS compliance, and accounting operations.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and taxation processes.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, particularly with auditors and internal stakeholders.
• MBA Finance qualification is required.
