Accounts Receivable/Payable Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Executive with 45 years of relevant experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, vendor payments, customer receipts, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with ZOHO Books/ZOHO Accounting, GST, TDS, and high-volume transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Perform a minimum of 50+ accounting entries and payment transactions per day with accuracy and timely processing.
• Record and verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) as per business requirements.
• Process vendor payments after verifying invoices, supporting documents, and approvals.
• Compare payment requirements against the approved budget, highlight variances, and obtain necessary approvals before processing payments.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate vendor and customer ledgers and ensure balances are reconciled.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with applicable GST and TDS requirements.
• Monitor outstanding payables and receivables and follow up for timely settlements/collections.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and internal reviews.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders regarding accounting and payment-related queries.
• Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in ZOHO and completed within defined timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 45 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, or bank reconciliation, General accounting.
• ZOHO experience is mandatory, preferably hands-on experience with ZOHO Books.
• Strong practical knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Experience in bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Experience in high-volume accounting and payment processing.
• Good understanding of Purchase Order creation and invoice processing.
• Experience in payment processing, budget comparison, and obtaining approvals.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities within deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented accounting professional who can independently manage AP/AR operations, handle high transaction volumes, ensure statutory compliance, and coordinate effectively with various stakeholders. Hands-on ZOHO experience and strong knowledge of GST/TDS are essential.
