Position: Officer – Accounts

Job Location: Gurgaon

Qualification: B.Com (mandatory); M.Com will be an added advantage

Experience: 5–7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

CTC Range: 7,50,000 /- LPA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Industry: Logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or warehousing industries

Additional Requirements:

• Candidates must have strong communication skills, as the role involves interaction with Japanese colleagues.

• The selected candidate will be based at the Gurgaon HQ.

• Preference will be given to candidates from the logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or warehousing industries.

Job Description:

• Accounts Receivable (AR) Reporting: Prepare customer-wise, branch-wise, and ageing-wise AR reports to monitor outstanding payments and identify overdue accounts.

• Customer Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts with company records, investigate discrepancies, and obtain balance confirmations from customers.

• Payment Follow-up and Dispute Resolution: Coordinate with Operations and Sales teams to follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and customer disputes.

• Receipt Allocation: Verify customer payments and ensure receipts are correctly allocated against the respective outstanding invoices.

• Credit Control: Monitor customer credit limits, agreed payment terms, and collection commitments to ensure timely payment.

• Overdue Receivables Management: Track overdue and long-pending payments, identify high-risk accounts, and escalate collection concerns to management.

• Customer Visits: Visit customers with long-pending outstanding payments along with the Operations team to discuss payment issues and support timely recovery.
