Accounts Receivable and Collections Manager

Role Brief

The purpose of this role is to ensure timely and efficient collection of outstanding receivables to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize credit risk for US operations. The AR Manager will proactively manage customer accounts, drive collection strategies, and resolve payment delays through effective communication and negotiation with US customers. This position also focuses on review of accurate cash application, account reconciliation, and aging analysis, while leveraging advanced tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate to enhance reporting and streamline processes. The role contributes to overall business performance by reducing overdue balances and improving collection efficiency.

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure proactive and effective collections management to achieve monthly target and reduce overdue receivables
• Ensure accuracy of AR data, provide timely cash collection forecasts, and consistently achieve targeted collection results.
• Communicate professionally, resolve payment issues fast, and ensure a smooth customer experience while meeting collection goals.
• Establish and sustain regular communication with customers to support timely payments and minimize overdue balances.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation for compliance and financial reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

• Postgraduate in finance, Accounting, or related field
• 10 to 20 years of experience in Accounts Receivable - Collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts)
• Strong verbal and written English communication
• Experience with Infor LN ERP system, along with exposure to Power BI and Power Automate, will be considered an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, night-shift environment
