Accounts Payable Supervisor - AP / PTP

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Accounts Payable (AP) / PTP Supervisor to lead and manage our day-to-day AP operations in Pune. The ideal candidate will supervise a team, drive operational excellence, resolve complex escalations, and manage key vendor/stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage a team of 57 AP professionals. Manage workload allocation and team performance.
• Operations Management: Take full ownership of end-to-end AP/PTP operations, invoice processing, and exception handling.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Escalations: Act as the primary point of contact for complex vendor issues and internal stakeholder communications.
• SLA & KPI Tracking: Monitor daily/weekly transaction metrics, ensure SLA compliance, and prepare operational performance reports.
• Process Improvement: Identify process bottlenecks, drive automation, standardise SOPs, and implement Lean practices.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 8–12 years in Accounts Payable / PTP operations, with 3–5 years of direct team handling experience.
• ERP Knowledge: Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA is mandatory. JDE experience is a good advantage.
• Domain Expertise: Experience working in Shared Services / GBS / MNC setups.
• Education: Graduate / Post Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance). CA Inter or Lean Six Sigma certifications are preferred.
• Work Setup: Ready to work 5 days from office (Magarpatta, Pune) during shift hours (03:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST).
