Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive to manage vendor payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records. The candidate should be comfortable reviewing past transactions, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring all payments have proper supporting documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile vendor ledgers and verify outstanding balances.
• Verify payments against invoices, bills, approvals, and supporting documents.
• Identify missing bills, payment discrepancies, duplicate payments, and unadjusted advances.
• Review past transactions and follow up on pending documentation.
• Maintain accurate vendor records, payment proofs, and reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment-related issues.

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations.
• Working knowledge of Zoho Books is preferred.
• Strong understanding of vendor reconciliation, invoice verification, and payment processing.
• Good command of Excel/Google Sheets and attention to detail.
• Strong follow-up skills and the ability to work independently.
